The EMFEM project hosted the conference Old Dilemma‘s New Voices: Feminist Ethics and #MeToo in May 2025 at the University of Iceland. Over 70 participants and speakers attended with papers on various kinds of gender based violence, sexual education, consent, forgiveness, misogyny, and more. A common theme was to shed light on issues in which MeToo had not happened yet, showing the importance of keeping that movement alive, especially in the current times of backlash regarding social justice in the world. The EMFEM team thanks all of the amazing participant for a very valuable time in Iceland.
